"TWIN" from poland with love

The 3 edition from the magazine "TWIN" came out last wknd on the freestyle.ch. We can almost talk about a Movement special Twin edition.. Carim Bouzenada was to see on the cover. Thomas had an Interview and from myself was a story about my trip to Poland on 5 pages.

"FROM POLAND WITH LOVE"

First stop was the Rienerhorn in Davos. Fresh pow, over 1200 altitude difference, sunshine and a big smile on my face. It was just a perfect day to start our trip to Poland, with a few stops in Austria.

The next 3 days, we crashed in St.Anton by the ski legend Skye Darden in the line chalet. We skied powder lines all day long with the two professional riders Tina Huber and Eva Walkner.

We stopped to ski, when the lifts where closed. Went for a quick dinner and jumped back in the car, looking for some sick spots for a night shooting. Normally we came home at like 1 o`clock from the night shooting. totally wet and tiered, but happy about the shoots we did.

After 3 awesome days in Austria we set off to Poland. After 10 hours driving, (we drove through Czech Republic instead Slovakia, thx to my GPS) we finally arrived in Poland.

The polish open was great. A lot a international top riders showed up.
The night before the main event, I could win the Sony Rail session,stoked...!:)

I ended up 5th on the main event (not 7th how it stood in the mag!!)

After the riders dinner, a few beers and just 2 hours of sleep... we had to hit the road again. Munich, the ISPO was on our time table... again a long wknd with crazy stories and parties...:)

My skis are waxed and im ready for the winter

Woke up this morning. blue bird! waxed my skis last night. stoked to go skiing!
everything seems perfect!
damn, just one problem, im still tired as hell....
good to have a freezer like this!! ;)

Water ramp and a broken finger

After our "excited" Wednesday, we finally came my second car key.
We drove to Mettmenstetten and had an awesome day on the two trampolines and the different water ramps. double back flips, kangaroos and flat spins all forms were to see.

I never thought i would say that you can break something on a water ramp, but it happened.
I didn't came around on a back flip double true nose and crashed. My ski catapulted directly on my hand. The result - 1 broken finger. But hey, I will be back on skis on Wednesdays... just whiteout poles for a few days:)

We didnt film a lot. no one wandet to, was just to much fun...

Hello,

that was quite an exhausting week (-end).

On thusday evening we, Fabi, Yannic an me, drove to zürich, we were all really excited cause we planed to go to the watherramps the next day. But it all came out different as we thought. In the morning, we all were kind of still sleeping. The car was full with our skiing stuff, then i slammed the back dor down and...the key stayed in the car...ahhh! We searched and found luckely a mechanic, but he couldnt help us...f****** old ford mondeo! So we had to spend the whole day in town...we went shopping and chilling at the "beach". After a nice dinner we had the glorious idea to start a own created drinking game---> drinking yatzy. We had a lot of fun... (blog created by janne -- janneski.blogspot.com)

Travel to Mammoth Mountain

End of last season, a few friends and me went to Mammoth Mountain for 5 weeks. It was just an awesome time with lots of fun. Ski, Party wknds in Las Vegas, Laguna Beach and Beverly Hills and much more..!
I just edit a little travel movie. We had crazy 48 hours to get there! But it was a doozie!
We are already planing the Mammoth trip for this season.

Car crash?!

As we where in St. Anton in January, i gave me car to "Twin" mag owner and photographer Ruedi Flück ( shabacru.ch/ruediphotography/) and the Swiss freeski pro Joel Mooser (joelmooser.blogspot.com)
They where driving around, looking for some new spots. But as everyone knows, those two kids are def. not the best drivers!!

I went to the Movement ski factory yesterday. The factory is located in Vevey.
We talk about next season plans, some new project`s and of cours about all new skis and design`s.


As you guys could see on my last blog, i will have a signature ski this season.
I was super glatt to hear, that there will be one as well for the winter season 10/11.


The design will be even better and im super stoked on it.

If you guys see me on the hill, may i will already have the new ski. so watch out for it.

Fabian K Signature Ski by Movement

hope you guys had a good weekend

i just want to show you my signature ski for the upcoming winter season.
I worked on this design together with the movement designer Michel.

One ski shows the bad aspect from the world. With the big factory on the base and all the smoke is coming out if it. Death bird on the tree...

The other ski should show you, how the world could be, if you just help keep our planet clean and recycle.

For those who at the freestyle.ch. please just step by at the Movementskis stand.
I will be hanging around there all weekend long. You can see all new Movement products and I am pleased to help you out with all kind a questions!
